The 1924 $20 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle is a classic pre-1933 U.S. gold coin struck from 0.9675 oz of .900 fine gold. Designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, it features the iconic full-length Liberty holding a torch and olive branch on the obverse, with a soaring eagle on the reverse—widely regarded as one of the most beautiful coin designs ever produced.
