Set on the Basque Block in downtown Boise, the design features dancers performing the traditional Uztai Txiki (Arco Dantza) hoop dance, symbolizing unity, rhythm, and shared purpose. Civitas stands at the center above the Boise Basque cross, honoring a community that preserved its cultural identity while contributing to Idaho’s growth.
